I am not really a big user of instagram for myself, however for individuals wanting more engagement or businesses wanting more interaction, Instagram has shown itself to be extremely useful in the world of Social Media and Digital Marketing. And with innovative uses, such as that by Ikea USA recently, Instagram can really have some gravitas in the online world … it’s not all about pictures of food.
Ikea USA have used instagram as a website for their PS 2014 collection – its a very clever use of the system, and makes for an engaging experience which draws the user into the site. you can read more about it here.
But how do you go about building that engagement, where the end result is more followers, this means a much much longer connection path with your user and a better ability to continually sell to those users. Whilst thinking about it, I came across great blogs like the one at Quick Sprout, but I also came across this cool infographic which handily cuts out the long form and is easy to follow.
