The Grove School (Nottingham) approached myself to redesign a website which was last redesigned at the turn of the millennium. The site was built using tables, inline css and was still being edited using frontpage – as such the the coding was not to standard and well it didn’t look to good either.
The new website uses the WordPress CMS to allow multiple staff to add news, edit pages and much more. The site is simply designed such that the homepage becomes a hub for the community around the school with branches to faculties and school information.
The new website I designed also has an inbuilt calendar function allowing the school to inform students, parents and members of the public of upcoming events such as school performances.
